  • I'd like to volunteer - what do I need to do?
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer firefighter with Cassville Fire Protection District, please see the Volunteer tab of this site, download the application, and email it filled out to travis.littler@cassvillefpd.org.
  • What is ISO?
ISO (Insurance Services Office) creates fire ratings for fire departments and their surrounding communities. The ratings calculate how well equipped the fire department is to put out fires in the community. The department is scored on a scale of 1-10, 1 being the best, and 10 being the worst. The ISO will then send this rating to local homeowners insurance companies to help set interest premiums on homes.
  • What is the current ISO rating for the district?
The current ISO rating for everyone who lives within 5 miles of one of our fire stations is a 6. If you live ouside of 5 miles from either of our two stations, your rating is a 10.
  • Do I qualify for free smoke alarms?
If you live within our fire district, you qualify for free smoke alarms from us. We can make an appointment with you to come and install them as well. See the Smoke Alarm tab of this site for more information.
